Dr. Bryan F. Hurlbutt’s e-book, “Cohort”, introduces the disciple-making strategy of using cohorts that are “intensive, structured and gender based.” Dr. Hurlbutt defines the cohort approach (biblically and practically), by explaining the character of the groups, the “four buckets” of curriculum that are drawn from, and what cohort leadership entails.

There are a few things that stand out about his approach:

1 – You will learn why “organic” is often less helpful than popular opinion suggests.

2 – The book has a solid balance of theology, theory and practice.

3 – This approach is not a cookie cutter – it is intentional and strategic while still leaving room for dependence on the Holy Spirit’s lead.

4 – Application to existing congregational structures is strong in this e-book.

5 – A solid approach to developing a leadership pipeline to multiply groups.

Our hope and prayer is that you and those you disciple are blessed by this e-book and that it produces much fruit.
